My name is Lucia, and I have blogged for just over a year at Umbrella Girl. For most of my blogging time, I knew nothing about design. HTML code? What's that? Color coordination? NavBars? Never heard of 'em. All that changed in late July of 2011, when I grew tired of my current design and decided to try my hand at the alien world of blog design. Long story short, after a few hours of frustration, discoveries, and experimentation, I emerged from the "I-know-nothing" side of blog design into the "I-think-I-can-do-this" side, happy and satisfied with what I found I could do.
A few days later, I was getting many compliments on my design, and even a few who inquired where I had gotten it done, or if I sold designs. That got me thinking. Why not? Why not offer my designs? Thus, after much contemplation, I took the leap: and here I am.
Once Upon a Time is not a fancy, professional design studio. I am just getting started, and thus there is much I have to learn. Nevertheless, I am confident that I can supply anyone with a fresh, simple, affordable blog design, chock full of "personality." Why not look around and see if I suit your taste?
